Official app check: which Pictory app is real?
✅ The official iOS app is Pictory AI Video by Pictory Corp.. View on the App Store ↗. Before installing, always check that the developer name matches.
Also on the App Store: 2 apps using a similar name that arenot published by Pictory Corp:
- “Pictory AI: Video generator” — developer: Janice Jones
- “Pictory AI: Fable Generator” — developer: Reece Ross
A different developer doesn't automatically mean an app is malicious — but it is not the official Pictory app, and copycat apps are a common way people get charged for something they didn't intend to buy. Checked 2026-11-01 via the public App Store catalog.
