Independence

Every fact on a profile comes from a documented public source. No company can pay to change a profile, remove a verified user report, or fast-track a more flattering write-up. Advertising (disclosed here) has no input into what we publish.

Who writes the reviews

Every full review carries a named author and is built from documented, publicly verifiable evidence — see About. Automated data profiles are clearly labelled as such and carry reduced visibility until a fuller, evidence-backed review is published.

How often we re-check

We re-fetch each tool's public records — company registry, privacy policy, terms and pricing — on a weekly to monthly schedule per source, and refresh the profile when a tool changes its pricing, when verified complaints spike, or at minimum once per year. Every review shows its real "last verified" date — we never bump dates without actually re-checking the evidence.

When tools change

We snapshot privacy policies, terms and pricing pages over time. Material changes appear on the review as a dated "Policy changed" notice, with a summary of what changed.

Errors

If we got something wrong, we correct the page, note the correction, and update the profile if needed. See Dispute & Corrections.
