Does Durable train AI on your data?
We don't reduce this to a yes/no — wording matters (defaults, opt-outs, enterprise carve-outs). Here is exactly what Durable's privacy policy said when we captured it on 2026-10-22:
“We use your data to provide and improve the Service.”
“Information Collection And Use We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.”
“Data from Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.”
Read it in context: Durable privacy policy ↗ (captured 2026-10-22). If this policy changes materially, it will appear on our policy-change alerts.

Product reality
We check tools against public records, so this page covers Durable's company, data, billing and reputation — not how well its output actually performs, which we haven't checked yet. To judge that, try the free tier if there is one and read recent hands-on reviews before committing to a paid plan.
Community Reputation
Trustpilot rating 4.8/5 (333 reviews).
Official app check: which Durable app is real?
✅ The official iOS app is MyDURABLE by DURABLE Hunke & Jochheim GmbH & Co. KG. View on the App Store ↗. Before installing, always check that the developer name matches.
Also on the App Store: 3 apps using a similar name that arenot published by Durable Technologies, Inc.:
- “Durable” — developer: Soft Save Service OOO
- “DurableVI” — developer: Novarata, Inc.
- “Durable Blast Parts AI” — developer: Joseph Craig
A different developer doesn't automatically mean an app is malicious — but it is not the official Durable app, and copycat apps are a common way people get charged for something they didn't intend to buy. Checked 2026-11-01 via the public App Store catalog.
